a ‘book group’ session on the book ‘sum’?

Thresholders

I’ve just bought a thresholdy book called Sum from Amazon (currently £3 and a half!). This has various short tales/scenarios about what will happen once we die. They are thought provoking, funny, scientific and creative in fairly equal measure:

‘Elegant, surreal and philosophically questioning, each story from neuroscientist Eagleman offers an inventive, thought-provoking blend of science and romance.’ — Metro

‘Anything that tells us, convincingly, that this really may be the best of all possible worlds has something big going for it.’ –Guardian

‘Witty, bright, sharp and unexpected – as surprising a book as I’ve read for years. Every story is a new Heaven.’ — Brian Eno

‘Never short of new ideas, all of them rolled out with style.’ –Independent

‘An absolute pearl of a book.’–Stephen Fry

Would anyone like to meet up to do a one off side order ‘book group’ on this book? e.g. sometime in September or October?

Write a reply here or let me know.

A couple of people have expressed interest so we can go ahead with this.

Any preferences for time and day? I’m thinking end of September + so you don’t have to rush to read it…

Full details to be updated on the side order page.

apologies that this hasn’t been arranged yet… Four of us are interested but things are generally quite up in the air with threshold at the moment.
